The Haunter of the Dark; by H. P. Lovecraft (readers invited)

If you've never read any of H. P. Lovecraft's works, I highly recommend you start soon, and start with any one of his pieces. Really, they are all that good. If you know his works, congratulations! I already like you more than I did before. Okay, I already liked you as much as the rest since you're reading this post. Seriously, if you were looking into finding something to read, I suggest you start with Lovecraft, and why not his "Haunter of the Dark"? I will add in that audio version is really good. But if you're old fashioned, and you like a regular book, you can find one here.

To sum the story up, it's scary creepy, but no gore or mass murder like we've become all too in tune with. It's a good well-rounded horror story and very classic for it's author. The main character Robert Blake is an artist and poet, and moves to city, and becomes intrigued by this mysterious church in the distant part of the city that he can see from his rental window. One day he goes in search of it, but the towns people have either never heard of it, or act kind of shady and don't want to tell him anything about it. For the rest, you'll have to check it out yourself.

I'm Back!
