The Lovely Bones, Really good book, but really sad too. Try it for a very excellent superbly good read. Follow the main character as she is abducted and murdered. The tale follows how life goes on after she's gone.



For a diary type read, check out "Go Ask Alice" below. This follows the supposed true story of a fairly normal teenage girl named Alice as she progresses into drug abuse.


Both take place during the 70's when awareness wasn't what it is now. If someone comes up missing, no internet, no Amber Alert, faces weren't even on milk cartons yet.
